First Things First
In a world that constantly tells us to prioritize success, security, and possessions, today’s Sunday Service reminded us of a timeless truth: God must always come first.
Ps. Roland began with a powerful declaration:
“Let the weak say I am strong. Let the poor say I am rich.”
This is not denial—it is faith. It is choosing to believe what God says over what circumstances show.
God’s Process Comes Before God’s Provision
“And He humbled you and let you hunger and fed you with manna…”
— Deuteronomy 8:3
Before God gave manna, He allowed hunger.
Ginutom sila ng Diyos bago sila binigyan ng mana.
This teaches us that God works with a system. Provision follows dependence. Before He satisfies our needs, He shapes our hearts to rely fully on Him.
Seek First What Truly Matters
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God…”
God’s instruction is clear: unahin ang kaharian ng Diyos. Everything else follows when our priorities are aligned with His will. The problem is not lack—it is misplaced focus.
Feed the Spirit, Not Just the Body
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
— Matthew 4:4
Nasa atin na ang kayamanang tunay na kailangan ng tao—ang Salita ng Diyos.
The Word is nourishment. It strengthens, corrects, and sustains us.
Our calling: isapuso at isagawa ang Salita ng Diyos.
Pakainin mo ang iyong espiritu. Bigyan ito ng mas malaking focus kaysa sa pisikal na pangangailangan.
What Should We Rejoice In?
“Do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
— Luke 10:20
Achievements, authority, and victories may fade—but salvation remains eternal.
Unang pasalamatan ang pagkakalista ng pangalan mo sa langit.
This is the greatest blessing we could ever receive.
Remember Who You Are in Christ
“You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood…”
— 1 Peter 2:9
We are not ordinary people living ordinary lives. We are chosen, called, and sent. God has opened our eyes and turned us from darkness to light (Acts 26:18), reminding us of our identity and purpose.
As we go through another week, may this truth remain clear in our hearts:
First things first.
Before bread, before blessings, before success—choose God.
