Introduction:

• Para kanino ka bumabangon?
• What is a Christian family?
• Habang nalalaman mo ang mga bagay-bagay, mas naiisip mong kakaunti pa lang ang iyong alam.
• Walang perpekto sa mundo. Ang Diyos ang perpekto.
• Tinitignan tayo ng Diyos na buo, sa kabila ng katangiang hindi tayo buo.
• What is faith?
• We must live by faith and not by sight.
• Maniwala't manalig sa Panginoon. Magkaroon ng relasyon sa Kanya.
• "I can do all things through Christ who strenghtens me."
• Only God can safeguard the family.

9 Values of a Christian Family

• Exodus 20:12 --- Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
• Irespeto and ideya ng mga magulang.
• Para sa mga anak: Magbigay ng ideya na hindi tinatapatan ang pagiging magulang ng inyong mga magulang. Magbigay ng ideya bilang anak.

1. BELONGINGNESS

--- Nagmamahalan at nagtatanggapan (love and acceptance)

--- All for one, one for all

--- Importante and lahat

--- Avoid favoritism

--- Don't reject each other

2. FLEXIBILITY
--- Adjustment

--- Sa pamilya, iba-iba kayo so you need understanding

--- Magkaunawaan

--- Kung ano ang kaya ng pamilya, magkasya

--- Mahalaga ang pakikisama, magkaroon ng pakialam sa isa't-isa

3. RESPECT

--- Fathers [parents], do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

4. HONESTY

--- Pagsasabi ng matapat

--- Tayo ay maging transparent about family topics

5. FORGIVENESS

--- Kapatawaran (Christ-like character)

--- Isang unique na characteristic ng family para sabihing sila ay Christian

--- 'Wag patagalin ang pagpapatawad

6. GENEROSITY

--- Pagbibigay; attitude of giving; pagkakaloob

--- Parents are the provider of their children

--- Have a spirit of giving

--- This Christmas, give a gift to your loved one with sacrifice

--- Magkaroon ng puso sa pagbibigay, make it a value

7. COMMUNICATION

--- Proverbs 19:13 - A foolish child is a father’s ruin, and a quarrelsome wife is like the constant dripping of a leaky roof.

--- Have a proper communication

--- Magkaroon ng matinong pakikipag-usap

--- Kapag nag-uusap ang mag-asawa, makinig muna habang may nagsasalita

--- Sincerely listen to each other

--- Walang pakialam sa sinasabi (wrong/bad communication)

--- Mas mahalaga ang relasyon kaysa sa mga isyu.

8. RESPONSIBILITY

--- Give each family member a role.
